Christmas came early for many LCPS teachers this year. Lenoir County Public Schools is proud to announce that the Lenoir County Education Foundation awarded 97 mini-grants across 16 schools in December. There were over 200 mini-grant applications submitted, and teachers could apply by themselves or as a group.
LCEF raised over $40,000 for these grants through their annual golf tournament and adult spelling bee, and those funds go directly to teachers for creative classroom projects, resources and innovative initiatives to enhance student learning.
Thank you to the LCEF, the entire Lenoir County Chamber of Commerce and community for these partnerships and investments in our teachers. Their continued support helps make these opportunities possible, and LCPS is deeply grateful for the positive impact that’s being had on our classrooms and students.
